Many veterans and surviving spouses are in need of assistance at home with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, ambulation and personal hygiene. Sadly enough, so many of these individuals simply can’t afford the help needed to stay safe and independent at home.
The “good news” is they may be eligible for a special pension from the Veteran’s Administration. The Veterans Aid & Attendance Pension will pay for in home assistance for those who qualify.
How do I know if I Qualify?
Did you or your veteran spouse serve at least 90 consecutive days of active duty with at least one of those days being in a period of War?
Did you or your veteran spouse receive an honorable discharge?
Do you require assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting or ambulation?
