I’m running Windows 10, HDMI is plugged into the port on my EVGA surround sound, like The Outer Wilds, there are obviously sounds. Look on the left side of your screen. I have the same question The TV industry technically does not allow the transmission of five channels. HDMI to audio. You may not be able to use 5 on your TV. If you pass through the source directly to the receiver, you can connect the TV and receiver with an optical cable, or you can pass through the source with an optical cable and connect the TV and receiver together. The Netflix app for Windows 8 and Windows 10 does, however, offer this service.

You can check if your device supports 5 by doing so. If you want to check if there is a five, go to any Netflix original. There is one audio option available. The Sound dialog box will appear when you click Enter.

You can select your five by going to the Playback tab. Select Properties from the list of surround speakers.
